Rotary Foundation Transition

About the Foundation Transition Committee July 2013 will bring exciting and positive changes to The Rotary Foundation, which is transitioning to a new way in which monies are directed, distributed and managed. These changes will give more autonomy to districts to make decisions about how Rotary Foundation dollars are spent. The Rotary Foundation Transition Committee, working in coordination with the District Foundation Committee, will help determine how our District will allocate Foundation funds and which programs our District will choose to implement. The Transition Committee will also establish a communications plan to educate clubs about proposed changes, create a training plan for clubs to become certified to participate in grant-making, and enable the District to fully participate in Foundation programs and opportunities.
