RYLA Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Committee

RYLA “Rotary Youth Leadership Awards” Committee: RYLA is a 3-night, Rotary-sponsored leadership program, held at a Maine summer camp, for rising high school sophomores. The camp  experience provides participants with opportunities to grow as leaders,  both individually and in a group setting.  Sponsored students attend for free with costs covered by their local Rotary Club. Committee annually informs local area high school guidance counselors about the  program’s existence and purpose, delivers brochures and application  forms to each school in January, and encourages potential applicants.  Members interview each applicant before s/he is approved to attend.  (Meets January to May)
