Share your Good Works
Through the District Calendar

A great part of Rotary is the ability to learn from and support other clubs. One way to do that is to share some or your Events and Fundraisers in the District Calendar.  The Event Planner in ClubRunner makes that easy!

Web Administrators and other Club Officers with the appropriate access level (Editors and Executives) can add Club Events.  Get started by logging into your ClubRunner account.  Go to the Member Area to reach the Admin screen. Scroll down to the Events & Volunteering section. Select Event Planner from either link.

On the next screen, you will see a list of any Events your Club has upcoming.  Select the orange box to Create an Event and add all the details of your new Event – date, times, description, Event Chair, Location, etc. Choose an Image (jpg, png) to upload that represents your Event.

As you scroll down adding your details, you will see a series of “radio buttons”.  It is recommended to keep all the buttons that default to “Yes”  in that status.  If you want to share your Event on the District Calendar, click “Yes” next to “Show Event in District Calendar”.  Then click to Save your Event.

Some important things to note:
1) This feature is not available for Speakers.
2) If you are holding an Event that takes place over several days and you decide to show that by indicating start and end times that are NOT on the same day, please DO NOT share those on the District Calendar. If you enter each day separately, that will work.   Multi-day 24-hour Events do not show well on the Calendar.
3) Use this feature only for Events or Fundraisers that you believe will appeal to Rotarians outside your club.
4) Access Levels for the President(40), Officers/Directors (50) and Editors (60) of Clubs are set by your Club’s website administrator under a member’s profile in the Settings tab.
