In January the District received Round II of the Million Mask Challenge, more than 100,000 face masks and for the first-time children’s face coverings.  Once again, all through the generosity of New England Rotarians and the Rossi Foundation, Rotarians are able to continue to distribute free protective facemasks to community groups that request them.

The Damariscotta and Newcastle Club has been able to donate 4000 masks to Fire Departments and the Damariscotta Police Department.
Rotary Rocks!

Kennebunk Portside distributed their mask allocation to front line workers in their community.
The Kittery Rotary Club and Kittery-After-Hours received an additional 6,000 masks which they are delivering throughout the community where needed.

The Bridgton-Lake Region Club is distributing their allocation to food pantry patrons as part of a District Grant to provide Health & Wellness products to food pantries. In the last week of January, 1600 adult masks and 600 children’s masks were delivered to food pantries in Bridgton. This will continue as long as our supply lasts with pantries in Sweden, Naples and Harrison serving dozens of communities in the region and reaching more than 800 families.

Wear your mask, Wash your hands, Watch your distance. Together, let’s keep our communities safe!!!
