Bradford Jett, District Governor  2008 –2009

 

Brad Jett joined the Hampton Rotary Club in 1998 where he and his wife (Penny) are currently members. He joined the Board of Directors in 1999 serving a four-year tenure before becoming President of the club in July 2003. He was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow in 2001 and “Rotarian of the Year” in 2002-2003. Brad was a member of the District Conference Committee for two consecutive Rotary years serving from 2005-2007 as District Auction Chair. He also held the position as Assistant Governor from 2005-2007 and served as District Membership Chair in the 2006-2007 Rotary year.

Brad’s rotary classification is “Video Production Services”, as President of PTV Productions – a company specializing in corporate media, he has been an advocate of providing his vocational skills back to the community. A volunteer from 1998 to 2006, as well as serving as vice-chair on the Town’s TV Cable Advisory Board, he has enabled the local access channel to make significant progress in their technical and broadcast quality, providing training, new programming and opportunity for growth.

In 1997, Brad was the founder and first President of the NHAVP, a statewide organization for video professionals, created to provide an educational forum, establish business ethical standards, and provide the opportunity for support and fellowship through monthly meetings.

Brad is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and both Brad and Penny are committed to Rotary and the ideal of service above self. Brad enjoys fishing, walking and photography and together they both enjoy bike riding, gardening and spending time with their two sons & daughter in laws, three grandchildren, and their many friends and family.
